I think that overall the semester went really well! Considering that none of us really knew what we were doing at the beginning of September this course was a great success. I think that we added a lot of exciting events like the pep rally, challenge day and doing the lip dub that involved a large part of the school. We also brought a lot more spirit to the school with events like IDCIdols and the United Way Stair Climb. Some things that could've gone better is communications between leadership and the light and sound club as they are a large part of making events a success but don't always understand what is needed of them! Also, communications between leadership and Mr.Cook, seemed to be mostly a one sided conversation, he would clear events and give us some feedback when we asked his permission, but when he came down to the class to talk to us, he rambled on and didn't really accomplish anything! I think that next time it would be a lot better if the same class could run throughout the entire year as then there wouldn't be a gap in the events as the new group of people learned how to run the school in February. Though, I do agree that it was right to just do a trial semester to see how the course went, when you are in grade twelve you can have two spares and those can be filled with leadership!
I think that overall, I have earned a 90% in this class for my contributions to the blue bomber cause! :)
